Before

This lovely seven-acre parcel looks out towards a larger acreage farmed by the family for the past 200-years. On the wooded lot, the clients are building their retirement home. Their excitement to come home, and the personal connection to the site is evident in the thoughful approach they've taken with the new house and site.

Working with Peter LaBau Residential Design as the architect, Grounded is developing a loose series of outdoor gardens that weave the house into the fabric of its surrounding woodland. A bird garden, fountain, outdoor terrace, fire pit, edible plants and a hammock hill allow many ways to relax and fully appreciate their property.
